“Milagrosa” means miraculous in Spanish, and it is a miracle that this mare survived.
As was the case with her companions (Biznaga, Dama de Noche and Violeta), we needed a lot of time, effort, money and love to allow her to recover and regain some trust in human beings.
We cared for her during her pregnancy (she gave birth to Sherezade a few days after arriving at our shelter), we gave her vitamins, the best feed (thanks to Altube who helped her, as they always do for those who are most in need), but time has passed and she still struggles to trust humans.
We hope one day to find a sponsor who will really want to commit to her, whether they can come and spoil her here at the rescue centre or care for her from a distance.
