Cognac is a great example of this.

He is one of the noblest, calmest, most respectful and most intelligent horses at our animal shelter.

In addition, he is very handsome!

Along with his companions, he suffered greatly at the hands of humans. Yet, when he arrived at Every Horse in the World, he decided to leave the past behind him, and enjoy the things and beings that make him happy here.

He is desperately looking for a human friend to spend time with.
