Filou is the perfect gentleman, he is always respectful and he has movie star good looks!

He is the perfect companion to take care of, groom and play games with.

Filou was treated very badly in the past but we are here to make sure that never happens again.

Some time ago, when we still put our horses up for adoption (before becoming an animal sanctuary in 2018), we entrusted him to a seemingly wonderful family. The mother wanted to teach her children the “value of responsibility”. For a few years, we would receive photos of them grooming him, and plaiting his mane and tail. But time passed and the children got older.

We then received the call we were dreading, our little Filou was being sent back.

We did not ask for an explanation. Here at Every Horse in the World, we have learned that when a human wants to give up an animal, the best thing to do is just get them out of there as soon as possible.

Therefore, we would like to ask anyone who is thinking of adopting an animal to please be responsible. You must accept the commitment to care for and love them for life. There are so-called good-hearted people who clear their conscience by giving their animal to a family member or a shelter, but they do not stop to think how they would feel if they were abandoned by their family.
