Help our animal rescue centre to keep saving lives

Read the story of Estrella

The first thing people notice about this young mare is her deformed leg.

However, the only thing we notice is how loving she is towards the children who visit Every Horse in the World.

A victim of abuse and abandonment, Estrella suffered terribly until we were able to rescue her.

We often get asked why we do not put her to sleep.

The answer is remarkably simple: Estrella is happy.

She eats, she plays, she rests, she races her friends and she gets lots of attention.

We find this question perplexing. If a person had a broken leg, would you put them to sleep? Of course not.

We always ask people to think carefully before putting an animal friend to sleep. We should always consider whether this is truly being done for the good of the animal or just to make life easier.
