Pampero is madly in love with Lluvia. And if you try to take him away from her, you will have a problem.

Pampero is the perfect example of horses that are used at events such as festivals and romerías. They are young, strong and noble.

We have seen plenty of them! Many had already been abandoned when we found them, and were suffering from broken backs, heat exhaustion, overexertion, etc.

We rescued Pampero near a livestock fair. He was covered in cuts and was all skin and bone.

We would like to remind public institutions that they have an obligation to ensure the welfare of animals at the aforementioned events.

According to El País newspaper, in its 22 May 2018 issue: ”141 horses and mules have died at the Romería de El Rocío in the last decade”.
