Dulce was rescued, along with twenty others, from the “House of Horrors”.

We are often asked what kind of person abuses a horse. As is the way with those who abuse other humans, there is no clear profile. We have encountered both wealthy people and poor people.

Sometimes they are not very educated and the decisions they make are based on ignorance.

However, the owner of the “House of Horrors” is a knowledgeable businessman, yet he did not care that his animals were slowly dying.

Dulce watched how many of her companions passed away in front of her. Unfortunately, time has not healed all of these wounds. She is a sweet and affectionate mare but she is still very fearful.
